My biggest worry was his lung development, they had said that he might not cry when he was born and might have to be on oxygen. Thank God, Liam came out screaming! The NICU doctor came over and told me he is a fiesty one! They put him on oxygen through his nose as a precaution, but he was on the lowest dose, and off of that by day 2! Our only concern with him is that he is tiny. But he is gaining weight like a pro! At 15 days old, he is already up to 2 lbs 14 oz! He is our litlle miracle baby for sure. I know with him being a premiee will have more doctors appointments, and maybe concerns his first year then we did with Landon, but I am happy he is here and thriving! I have moments where I get upset because he should still be in my belly, but obviously God had a different plan for us this time :)

Liam is here-a little early!
December 28th was the scariest day of my life! It started with a routine doctors appointment and ultrasound. The ultrasound was first, and we never got past there. I had somehow lost all my amniotic fluid and if we didn't deliver Liam (almost 8 weeks early) he wasn't going to survive, and then Dr. Graves said, "Oh, and it's going to be a c-section, this little guy won't make it through a vaginal delivery". So a couple hours later, at 6:39 pm Liam Andrew was born weighing in at 2 pounds 5 ounces.
